A 24-year-old man who had been shot multiple times was found on Monday night, May 10 in Santa Ana, police said.
It was shortly after 10:30 p.m. when police were called about a man shot in the 1900 block of South Fairview Street.
There they found an unresponsive man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso, police said. Firefighters pronounced the man — identified Tuesday as Froylan Santos of Santa Ana — dead at the scene.
Homicide investigators were working to determine what led to the man’s death. No arrests have been reported.
